RYAN GOEN
Ryan Goen was born and raised in Griffin, Georgia where he competed as a junior elite under Paul Littlejohn at World Xtreme Gymnastics. Ryan began coaching at the age of 15, initially coaching recreational classes and pre-team. During his final two years of high school, Ryan began coaching levels 4-7 at World Xtreme while competing his final two years as a junior elite. After high school, Ryan attended Temple University on an Academic Scholarship and continued to coach part time, eventually deciding to pursue coaching gymnastics full time. During his first two years of involvement with the USAG TOPs and Elite Program, Ryan has made tremendous strides in his coaching career, which involves coaching:
Since coming to New Jersey in 2007, Ryan has coached six state all around champions and several individual event champions, setting six New Jersey state records along the way. Last year, Ryan had 3 TOPs National Team Members, 1 TOPs Diamond Level National Team Member, and 1 TOPs B Camp Invitee. Ryan is currently completing his business degree through South University. |
